Marina Caballero-Dominguez is a Uruguayan-born artist who migrated to the United States in the 1980's at the age of twenty-two. Today, she lives and works in Southern California.
Her art has been featured with great success at numerous events- in different locations throughout Southern California, South America and Europe- where pieces were purchased by collectors from around the world.
During an art conference at The International Ceramic Art Exhibition in the city of Yixing, China in 2005, one of her pieces was accepted into their permanent collection where it remains into today.
In 2012, the Museum of Latin-American Art granted her the award Female Artist of the Year.
Since 2004 she's worked on numerous private commissions. Today you can find her commissioned artwork in elegant homes, hotels, restaurants and business reception halls on four continents.
Marina offers private and group classes in Mixed Media, Painting, Encaustic and more. The classes are held at her very own studio providing hands-on instruction for all levels of experience.
She is known for her privately commissioned art pieces- designing around particular company logos if needed or handcrafting one-of-a-kind masterpieces for homes, public and commercial spaces.
